Ice Breakers and Teaching Strategies

Mind blowing ice breakers and teaching strategies by the Special Ed class.

Ice breaker- Silent Line
  •       Students will create a straight line by arranging themselves using their date of birth.
Conditions:
  1. Absolutely no speaking or any form of mouthing can be used.
  2. Students are allowed to use body or sign language.

Teaching Strategy- Four Corners
  •       Each corner of the classroom is assigned a number (1-4) based on the level of agreement.
Level of Agreement
  1. Agree
  2. Strongly agree
  3. Disagree
  4. Strongly disagree
Instructions - A question is randomly asked to students. Responses will be based on the four levels of agreement (agree, strongly agree, disagree, strongly disagree). Students will then move to the respective corner and discuss their response with other peers.
